• Origin: Originated in Exeter, California by S. T. Casselman. Introduced in 1959 by Reedley Nursery, Reedley, California. Discovered in 1956 considered to be a bud mutation of Late Santa Rosa CHILLING
• Hours: 500 chill hours required
• Fruit: Large. Size and shape similar to Santa Rosa
• Skin: Crimson with blue bloom, has more yellow flecking in ground color and lighter red over-color than in Santa Rosa
• Flesh: Orangish-yellow, firm with rich, pleasing sweet tart flavor
• Harvest: Late
