• Origin: Developed by Luther Burbank and released in 1929
• Tree: Vigorous, hardy and prolific
• Chilling Requirement:
• Low To Medium: 500 chill hours or less
• Pollination: Mariposa, Santa Rosa, Salad, Red Heart, Narrabeen
• Fruit: Large heart shaped, freestone
• Skin: Dark reddish-purple mottled skin
• Flesh: Sometimes called a “blood plum” because of its dark-red flesh. Sweet, juicy, richly flavoured, firm red flesh
• Harvest: Late around March
