Description
- Origin: Developed by Luther Burbank and released in 1929
- Tree: Vigorous, hardy and prolific
- Chilling Requirement:
- Low To Medium: 500 chill hours or less
- Pollination: Mariposa, Santa Rosa, Salad, Red Heart, Narrabeen
- Fruit: Large heart shaped, freestone
- Skin: Dark reddish-purple mottled skin
- Flesh: Sometimes called a “blood plum” because of its dark-red flesh. Sweet, juicy, richly flavoured, firm red flesh
- Harvest: Late around March
- Uses: Eating, bottling, preserving
