- Origin: Originated in Fresno, Calif. , by U. S. Dept. of Agriculture. Introd. in 1974. Selected in 1969 by J. H. Weinberger. Prunus persica cv. (110-47 x 109-89) x FV89-14[(Fireglow x Hiley) x Fireglow]. 110-47 is Kirkman Gem x Dripstone; 109-89 is Kirkman Gem x (J. H. Hale x Rio Oso Gem)
