- Background: Raised by J. H Kidd in Greytown, Wairarapa, New Zealand, about 1934. Bred from Kidd’s Orange Red × Golden Delicious. A tree of moderate vigour, upright and fairly spreading. Susceptible to scab, mildew and fireblight
