- Origin: Probably from Hereford, England in mid 1800s
- Tree: Medium upright tree. Spur bearer

- Pollination: Late bloom, good self-fertility, good pollinator with Breakwell’s Seedling, Dabinett and Stoke Red
- Fruit: Small conical fruit, russet corona around the eye. Flesh white soft and dry
- Harvest: Mid to late, very good yield
- Uses: Bittersweet, a mild to medium cider
