Description

• Origin: Originated in Campbelltown, Tasmania 19th century
• Harvest: Mid (March to April). Ripens early compared to other russets Truncate conical shaped. Large fruit. Fruits have short stalks and are held closely to branches so thinning may be required. Yellowish skin completely in russet. Yellow flesh with a green tinge. Sharp to taste but also aromatic
• Pollination: Needs a pollinator (produces viable pollen) – Alane, Cox’s Orange Pippin, Bramley’s Seedling, Jonathon, Winter Banana etc. Stores well
• Uses: Eating and Cooking
