- Origin: Raised at Barrowby, Grantham, Lincolnshire by Mr Dewdney in about 1850. Fruits have moderately firm, juicy and very acid flesh. Aka Baron Wolseley, Dewdney’s Seedling, Dewdney, Lord Wolseley, Volseli Fruit
